Significance of Mythology

All of us love reading or some love listening to good stories. Mythological stories are one of a kind which can be super interesting to one but boring to the other. As we have seen in my previous posts, every place has their own authentic mythologies.

According to me mythology comprises of half-truth and it creates an ideology. These stories tells us where we come from and what was our history. Myths differs as we move from place to place. Also all the  religious practice are based on the mythologies that we have been hearing. I am one of them who comes up with a lot of questions about the practices since my childhood, so after reading such myth stories a lot of you might also come up with questions, what I want to tell you is it's just a pure form of story-telling and it's one choice to believe it or not. 

Such stories introduces us to different cultures and how some people were in the past. Mythological stories still has it's own relevance because now it comes out through different forms and it has different perspectives to it. It has two versions to it that is ancient and modern. Even though it is equated with unrealistic parts, like fiction we know that we enjoy listening to it or reading about it. These stories talk about creation.

   

A lot of content nowadays have been adopted from mythological stories. Today, the content world or the entertainment world has grown so extensively that people are taking efforts to know more about earlier times and create a link with today's world. Everyone is predicated on myth.
